1902 - 20     Lived at home with his parents.

Gained Board of Education Certificates in Drawing & Pictorial Design.
Probably lived at home with his parents while at college.
   
1924 - 28   School of Engraving, Royal College of Art, London.
Had digs with Miss Avenal on the Fulham Road.
Gained Diploma in Etching 1927 & a Teachers Certificate 1928. 
   
1928 - 30       Unknown
   
1930 - 32     Teaching post in Morecombe Bay
Lived 7 Park St, Bare, Morecombe Bay
   
1932 - 43   Teaching post in Ashton-under-Lyne College
Married Christine Glover 3rd June 1933.
One child - John - born August 1937.
Lived 142 Albemarle Terrace and later at 21 Firs Avenue, Ashton-under-Lyne.
FCD not in the forces during the war - had TB which ruled him unfit.
   
1943 - 47   Taught at Altrincham Grammar School
Lived at 18 Alstead Avenue, Hale.
   
1947 - 62  Senior Lecturer in Art at Cheshire CC Training College, Alsager
Lived at 90 Sandbach Road, Alsager.
Christine was an active potter during this period.
   
1963 - 92     Retired from the college and they moved to Goring-on Thames.
Lived at 92 Elvendon Road, Goring until his death.
He and his wife shared the house with their son John, who worked in London.
Had a boat on the Thames; very involved with the local history society.
His wife, Christine, died in March 1982 and their son John died in July 2010 .
